    Just curious....

For vargas, if i take away eather ike.... or winky... he still has the other, and campas and marquez.... plus hes defined just as much in his losses to tito and hoya

and you know what.... as time has passed, i respect his wins over joval and cast a little more.

Mayorgas a bit less..... take away forrest and he doesnt have a whole lot to stand on besides his lewis win, close loss to spinks and his bravery against tito.

Miranda... shouldnt really count because hes still building that base.... im not even sure what his best win is... green or eastman.

RJJ - Simply take away B-Hop and Toney and his resume (on an all time scale, anyway) seems VERY weak. But STILL, he is a 6 time world champion in 4 weight classes, and would still have made history by going from middle to heavy. Take away Ruiz (who's not great, but the history of the fight and the disadvantages he had, make it one of his "biggest" fights) and all he would really have is that he looked good against good but not great opponents (kinda like Calzaghe, although Calzaghe doesn't look half as good as Roy... I just HAD to take that dig :p )

FMJ - Take away Corrales, Castillo, Dela Hoya and Hatton... His best wins would only be Judah (coming off a loss), Gatti (more of a name than a good fighter), and maybe his dominant reign against again good (but not great) fighters at super featherweight.

Still - Roy and Floyd were the two best fighters of the last two generations pound for pound, so even taking away their best wins, its still hard for them to look THAT bad.

name a fighter that doesn't that would be a better thread, you could say that about at least 97% of pro boxers

I don't know Kirk. I think that Vargas's wins over Ike and Winky are huge. This wins show that a prime Vargas was a force that could beat even the cream of the crop. Without them he is just a guy that came up short when he fought the big time

my bad... i shouldnt have said win(s) as in more then one... i ment, take away his best victory.. only his best. or if he has plenty of equal ones... choose one of them.

To me... mayweather is one of the easiest guys...

Lets say his best win is the corrales fight.... he still has hatton, hoya, castillo, ect... take away any of those, and he still has the others that give him a lot of credit.

sorry for not being clear ;)

like mayorga... not so much, take forrest away and he only has lewis and close and brave loses.

Rjj isnt TOO bad... id say hopkins is his best win, take that away and he still went on to beat Toney and Ruiz, among others not so bad like woods.

Take Oscar off of Shane Mosleys resume and while its still decent hed only be a 1 time World Champ and his best win would be agianst a group of Leija,Past it Vargas,Collazo,Diaz,Holliday or Molina good fighters but Oscar was great in 2000.
