Where would Floyd and Pac be?
Without Arum Pac would still be the undisputed P4P King. Maybe even better resume and accomplishment-wise cause he would've fought and beat Floyd and Paul Williams and Sergio at 154 already. Floyd without Al Haymon would just be an ordinary fighter with extra-ordinary skills.

Vince Carter 2000 is the best dunk contest performance of all time IMO.

without Arum Pac would be an exciting fighter who never reached the level of fame he is at today.....he would have several losses from not being carefully matched.

without Arum and his selective handpicking, Pac would be a Bakla in poverty

without arum or al haymon they would have exactly gone to other promoters who is likely about the same type of person arum is. Arum gets a lot of criticism because he's the one on top of the promoter biz but put one of those guys in his place and i have no doubt they would have done the same thing. We need someone like Dana white to handle everything in boxing

Trouble is, White's not so great himself. Virtually everyone in the UFC is anywhere from kind of to severely underpaid, and he definitely plays favorites. Immediate rematch for Machida when Rampage "beat" him and even Rampage didn't think he'd won? No. Immediate rematch for Edgar after Henderson beats him down? Yes. White brings his pluses and minuses just like the people running boxing.

As for the question, without Arum around, Pacquiao would probably be with GBP. Without Haymon, Floyd would probably have tried to self-run an RJJ-like promotional outfit but still co-promote with someone else. Either way, both Floyd and Pacquiao would still have achieved great success and made a lot of money. Both are great fighters, and any promoter they were with would still have done whatever they could to maximize the money they could make off of them.
