He'd have still got all his straps back. None of who Joshua faced afterwards beat him except maybe Usyk.

Ruiz would have been significantly faster at 253 lbs than 283 lbs and it's not just the 30 lbs of excess weight; it's the fact that Ruiz was partying constantly and didn't train properly. Had the Parker fight not been in NZ he probably wouldn't have got the decision, it was razor close and hard-chinned, decent engine, more fleet of foot than AJ Parker had to take plenty of shots to win. AJ obviously doesn't beat Ruiz on the outside "every time" because every so often Ruiz would land a big hook that would scramble AJ's equilibrium or Ruiz would have him gassing, drop him and finish the job. The AJ that Ruiz fought in the rematch was dealing with serious demons that would have sapped his gas tank even more than usual if Ruiz had been able to apply more pressure. At the very least, it would have been a war and AJ would have had to overcome serious adversity.

odds are that Usyk will win. however, do not forget that Usyk said he was hurt/buzzed (don't remember the exact wording) by Joshua. This is heavy weight boxing. any thing can happen. get hurt enough and you might be going out the exit door. I wouldn't rule Joshua out just yet. for the record....I think Usyk will win. don't think Usyk is just taking it as a walk over either.
