Take out that 1 KO win against Pacquiao, how do you rate Marquez's resume?

    Juan Manuel Marquez (55-7-1)

    - Marco Antonio Barrera.
    - Juan Diaz.
    - Michael Katsidis.
    - Orlando Salido.
    - Joel Casamayor.

He got robbed at least 10 times in his career.
In fact he is undefeated really!

    Actually...

    That one hit wonder KO
    PEDS scandal
    Pea drinking

These will be his only 3 footnotes in boxing history!

Why would you take out his biggest win when evaluating his resume?

Pretty good still, I think it's as good as guys like cotto, Martinez and others that are good for their era but not memorable like pacs and floyds

I don't think he's trying to discount the win, but show that the Pac fights dominate his resume. You had many great fighters struggling against a guy much less accomplished, like Ali vs Norton or even Frazier.

Casamayor was no brawler, but he was well past his expiration date. Barrera was also over the hill, that's why hardly anyone gives Pac any credit for easily beating him 6 months later.
