i had it 7-5 for floyd, but why do people say he swept him for 12 rounds....

did they really watch the fight, or are they going by he say she say....

i wanna here from the most loyalist floyd fans out there...not the nuthugger boxrec babies that flood this site....

i remember that night i was chilling with a real floyd fan, and he told me that it was alot closer than he thought it would be....

i just wanna hear what ya'll gotta say...all this talk about castillo vs mayweather 1, we forget about the re-match cause of people saying, "so what, he whooped his ass in the 2nd fight" ....

That fight was 8-4 at most for PBF. I scored it 7-5 for PBF two seperate times. It was a closer fight than people let on, but it was alot clearer than the first fight.

He didn't destroy JLC. What he did was beat him very clearly unlike the first fight. I gave JLC 3 or 4 rounds in the re-match and in the first fight I scored it 7-5 PBF.

I had the first one 7-5 Castillo and the second one 7-5.

I'm not sure why Floyd fans are saying that Castillo got whooped in that fight, it was extremely close.

i remember it not being that close. i had floyd taking about 8, castillo 2 and two even.

he clearly showed he was on a higher level.

but dont you admire pbf!!!! After the close first fight, he immediatly went in for a rematch!!!

that is MUCH more than oscar ever did. compared to pbf, he is a *****.

I agree with you Freddy, it was evidently clear that the fight was competitive. I had it Floyd 7-5.

What it shows is how much trouble Cotto will be at Welterweight.:yep

never seen it but it could be a close fight on the scorecards but if PBF won his rounds by alot and Castillo barely won his then even 7-5 can be a whooping.

I thought BHop whooped Taylor's ass in the first fight and i scored it for Taylor.

Hey Amsterdam? What's your final assessment of the Hatton fight? It seems to have gone almost exactly as you predicted.

I had the first fight 6-6.
I had the rematch 7-4 with one round tied.

Oscar fought better opposition than Mayweather. Of course some of it is the fact that Oscar can demand the lion's share of the payday against anyone (except Tito which was closer to 60/40) and opponents will take it, but he deserves credit for that anyway.

But I do agree that it was weak how guys that deserved rematches like Whitaker and Quartey never got them, but Chavez got one.

What else is there to say? An overrated, 1 dimensional guy was dominated and KTFO.

And on schedule, some people assume that stopping Hatton is the same as stopping Cotto.:-(

It's not. But you also said Hatton wouldn't be competitive at all, and he was. He may have won only 2 rounds at most, but he was competitive until the 8th.

FOR YEARS, on this board after arguing the first fight....about 98percent of the floydtoys finish off with "so what, he whoooped his ass in the 2nd fight"
    but never with an explanation....
