Chin resistance isn't a skill, it's mostly a physical attribute in the same way that how tall a fighter is isn't a skill.
Heaping praise on a fighter just because he has a great chin would mean someone like Randall Tex Cobb was a great fighter, and his fight against Larry Holmes was an amazing display of skill.

Of course, it doesn't mean that the benefits of having a good chin can be discounted. It can be the difference between victory and defeat in a fight like Margo/Cotto.

Dude really thought his Chin was going to take him to the top. He got his ass whooped. Mosley whooped his ass like he caught him ****ing Jin. I mean he just beat the **** out of em. It was not even like a boxing match at the end of round 7 I think. Margarito was winning that round until the last 45seconds..Shane just starts beating that ass. That looked more like a street fight.

You dumb son of a *****. PBF has the best defense of any fighter in his era.:deal Yeah it takes skill alot more than using your chin for defense like that crash test dummy Margo.

    ROFL :)

The jury is still out on whether he is guilty or not so lets please reserve judgment, but if he is guilty then he should be banned IMHO. Making hands more dangerous can take a persons life or cause them serious life-long damage.

its a ****ed up day in the sport, when a man is considered king because of the punches he can take.a fighter takes alot of punches because they have no d.thats what it really means but some how that bad thing has been turned around into a good thing.how is haveing no d at all be a good thing ?

all that rock hard chin, walk through anything is false and will always be false.

Getting stopped by Shane doesn't change the fact that he took a lot of heavy punched plat. Did Erik Morales all of as sudden NOT have a good chin because Pac Ko'd him? Let me guess, Jones jr ALWAYS had a bad chin too? I know you don't believe those.
