I realized that a lot of weights are coming from my legs. I'm 165 and I'm telling you, a lot of those weights are coming from my thighs..I did lot of martial arts and gymnastics before and I think that's the problem. Any one know a way to take weights (muscles) off your thighs?

Better to have the weight in your legs than on your upper body.

Because the heavier the upper body is, the more weight the legs have to push around to rotate your upper body into the punch.

Stronger legs and a lighter upper body will mean the legs will whip that upper torso around that much faster putting more power into the shot.

And remember, the upper body hardly produces any punching power. Sit down in a chair and see how hard you can punch... It's the legs that do all the work.
