What’s your thoughts on this Japanese battler from the 80s? He doesn’t seem to mentioned at much at all. I’ve only seen a few of his fights and so far I’m really enjoying what I’m seeing from him. Very relentless fighter who always came forward. He is definitely a crowd pleasing fighter. Some of his fights that are available. Enjoy! Probably one of the best fights I’ve seen that ended in a draws. My goodness what a fight. This content is protected
Will definitely check him out more later. I'm pretty sure I've only seen him fight a couple of times and my memory is blank.
Haven't thought about him in years, definitely need to re watch some of his fights. I just remember he reminded me of Harada with his relentless style. Love threads like these that give fighters rarely mentioned spotlight.
Bump. A very obscure fighter that was exciting to watch who deserves more attention. Every available fight of him is a fun scrap. Reminds me of Joichiro Tatsuyoshi.
They both learnt to box at Osaka Teiken gym. I've noticed that many Osaka Teiken fighters from the past usually peak early, have short careers at world level and are suddenly pushed quite hard in match ups. Doesn't seem any different for Muguruma. Thanks for sharing Flo.
Rough, this was absolutely amazing. What a fight! I'm going to post my score on the scorecard thread. My favorite round was the 2nd. Thanks for putting it on the radar again.
