Hard to tell on the mitts. Anyone can look decent doing the mitts with a little bit of practice. The good thing is that she's really young, so if she sticks with it and gets good training, there's no reason she can't be really successful. ....with that being said, her coach better start telling her now to keep her hands up and her elbows in to protect her body. I know with little kids, those details are a bit harder but it's better to start good habits early than try to break bad habits later.
looks like she knows how to put weight behind her punches. Needs to learn how to shoot punches tighter and better balance.
the lad on pads should be counterattacking on her.slapping her into the body and coming forward making her box off the back foot
There is some talent but it needs refining and she is still young so who knows how tall or strong she may be one day.
I'm assuming this is your daughter Boxing Dad. She's only 10 years so as long as she sticks with it, and you continue to provide positive reinforcement, the sky is the limit for her.
If anyone punches a pad night after night for week after week, their muscles will adapt to become more explosive and seem qicker and stronger.... its the other stuff that makes a good fighter.
Personal life blows, but that's besides the point. Trying to train as much as possible, hopefully I'll get a match bout in the next month or so. But so far the closest one we've found is a 10 hour drive.
