To answer your question. I'm leading you. Look at you. For some reason you just can't stop coming back here. I'm supposed to come here because I created this thread and I'm responding to the the opinions of others. Everytime you come back you're seeking after me. I like to think outside of the box in general from time to time, my comments expand beyond ESB.
Whats wrong with change? Someone made a good point earlier when they said earlier that if the fight were to actually happen I'd be a little nervous about my stand. I'm usually 100% right when I bet on boxing, but this match I wouldn't bet on. I said in my original that Tyson would have to defeat some of the all times greats early or his chances or winning fade, but none the less i believe he has the talent to stop Ali early. You have nothing on me jack. I'm leading you back here time after time. Keep come back Jack.
Hey Pops, Thanks for the response here. These fantasy posts don't always bring out the best in people do they? Keep up the good work. I do agree that Tyson had the ability to take anyone out early under the right cricumstances, and with Tyson the right circumstances were for sure more often than not, at least up there with Foreman. If I remember correctly, Ali took some pretty good body attacks over the years. What's your take on Ali's ability to absorb body shots?
Hey Thomas... No doubt that these fantasy match up brings out the beast in folks.. I simply stand my ground. Now back to Ali, he is one tough customer. In the Foreman fight he withstood Foreman's Attack to the body and head and that say a great deal about his endurance, but many of Foremans's shots were wide. Some landed accurately, but had little precision. Tyson on the other hand threw almost textbook body shots, putting his entire body into with precision. I believe Ali could absorb a Tyson body shot, but not the the extend of where he allowed Foreman to throw shot after shot. Before he knocked him out.
True, Tyson was sharper and more accurate with his shots than George. Young Georges power was just natural brutal type, Tyson had natural power and great technique, Of course those shots Foreman layed on Moorer and Cooney were pretty sweet combo's, but they were the exception. So would you agree with me when I say, George has more naturall power, but the fact Tyson combines his power with better technique makes their power about equal overall?
I see you have still have nothing valuable to add. Its flattering that you keep coming to my thread and lingering on to my every word.
Of course Young George has more natural power. He's the type of fighter that doesn't need great technique. All he has to do is literally touch you and you're hurting for a week. George's raw power is greater, but what made Tyson's power greater was the fact that not only did he have beter technique, but his delivery was faster. What you can't see will devestate you the most. Similar to being sucker punched verse bracing yourself when talking about mortal men, but in Tyson's or Foremans case it wouldn't matter.
It looks like someone's going to need those great leadership skills to coerce us subordinates into thinking that only he knows the subtle differrences between 'precise' and 'accurate'. :yep
Tyson was arguably the best of the shortest heavyweights. I'd put him ahead of Marciano, Patterson and Frazier in terms of overall physical skill. What he lacks is the endurance that Marciano, Patterson and Frazier have. The facts speak louder because Tyson has never fought a 15 round fight and none of us know how he'd hold up from the 13th round onward. In a 10 or 12 round fight, Tyson probably knocks out Patterson and decisions Marciano and Frazier.
Because he never had to fight 15 rounds doesnt mean that he could'nt one of his fights was scheduled for 15 rounds if i rember correctly.
