Wladimir Klitschko. Could only do 1 thing, and if it wasn't working he would still do it.

Broner. The guy stopped throwing punches above 135.

Wilder knows his limits. I think he fights smartly for what he is.

Haha, this was a sucky post lol. Sorry for the controversial pick but hear me out (which is why I didn't say definitely Pacquiao but I think). I see Pacquiao as an elite ATG who is known more for his athleticism (speed and power) but does struggle time to time regarding making adjustments mid-fight. If Pacquiao had more refined boxing IQ, he would've figured out Marquez by the 3rd or 4th fight or improve his punch output against the mobile Mayweather. But honestly, ring IQ or not, it doesn't matter because Pacquiao proved his worth so many time against HOF/P4P opposition and I honestly don't count head-to-head abilities towards legacy.

    Amir Khan.

Absolutely pathetic ring IQ. Could of saved a lot of losses in his career if he wasn’t so thick. His chin was made of glass and whenever he was hurt he tried standing face on, fighting back, swinging like a mad man instead of taking a knee, covering up or clinching.

Anthony Joshua. He can follow a fight plan to a T, but if things go wrong he’ll make the worst decisions imaginable. When he got clipped by Ruiz, instead of keeping range and boxing, he immediately rushed forward and engaged. When he fought usyk, instead of rushing forward and imposing his size and strength, he tried to box with the superior boxer.

Deontay Wilder - his ring IQ is incomparable to his insane physical gifts.

I always thought Mosley didn't really know how to adjust or change tactics, I feel like he was a tad one dimensional despite his amazing handspeed.

Was going to say the same. Seems when his confidence is low, he does/did resort to doing what he does best, try to power through.

David Tua didn't seem to have much else in the ring IQ department other than just throwing bombs.

I'd say this applies to a lot of British fighters

Not so much us having a low ring IQ but rather we're a warrior people and we just love a tear up and we also place a lot of importance on giving the paying fans in attendance, and indeed everyone watching at home on TV for televised cards, their money's worth. It's just the way we're built, born and raised. And our Irish brothers as well.

We'll probably get another FOTY contender in just a few hours between Conlan and Gill and if not it's because one or both of them are damaged goods due to all the wars for the ages they've been involved in

    Foreman.

    Wilder

    Joshua

have no exceptional IQ ring imo. Their defeats were so frightening they prove it.
