Talking about Floyd vs GGG @ 160 is just dumb, and pathetic.

Floyd is a 147 pounder, he hasn't fought at 154 for 2 good years now!

He couldn't even make 151 against Canelo and people want him to fight at 160 at the twilight of his career? **** off. :hi::-(

The man has nothing more ever to prove. He's a top 10 ATG fighter and beating GGG even at 160 ain't going to change much. He should finish his career off at his most comfortable weight class, a weight class where he belongs.

    147! That's it. Nothing more.

He is a 147 pounder and that's where he's most comfortable. That's what I want to see. Him fighting at his most ideal weight, not get bloated up there and have no good muscles to fight.

    Brook
    Thurman
    Khan
    Garcia

2 of the 4 should be the fights to end his illustrious career.

Floyd hasn't dared to be great like Sugar Ray Robinson, Roberto Duran,...etc...

He won't fight Golovkin at a fair weight if he does anyway. It's unlikely to happen as that doesn't fit Floyd's m.o.

5 weight classes, "Never dared to be great"

Best of this era, "Never dared to be great"

Just beat the hell out of Pac, "Never dared to be great" :rofl

Even if he beats Golovkin, you would give him no credit.

You would come across better if you took Khan and Garcia out of your list. Floyd may in fact defeat Brook and Thurman easy, but every is already about as certain as you can be that he defeats Khan and Garcia easy. Theres no point in having the fights.

Thurman or Brook are the only names that matter on that list. Cotto was a 140 pounder who moved up to fight Maravilla....what's the problem with Floyd moving up to 154 for GGG.:conf

He's a 147 pounder and that's where he should be staying. That's my point. His 154 titles will be dropped, he hasn't defended them in 2 years.

It would be a stupid fight man. Come on!!

It's like asking Gennady to fight Kovalev/Drodz.

  10. I don't see a problem if he is willing to drain down and get constant USADA blood test, and do it all in what...2 1/2 months. He will look like Geale at the Cotto weigh -in. Able will have to hold him up on the scale.

All I want to see are fair fights

    147 vs 147

    154 vs 154

    160 vs 160

    168 vs 168

    Not 147 vs 160, 147 vs 154, 147 vs 200

    1) So when Floyd actually has a legitimate challenge in a division he has fought in (at least twice) he shouldn't take it?

    2) Manny was naturally smaller (started his career @ 108, Floyd started @ 130 I believe) and 2 1/2 inches shorter (same deficit Floyd would be facing against GGG) as well and a much smaller reach.

Okay so why not Pac vs GGG, he was also a 154 champion. :think

Pac and May are not big sized WW's, they should be at 147.

Yeah, 160 is dumb. But Floyd holds a title at 154, and if Golovkin is willing to come down...then it's fair game.
