Tonight I had the first boxing talk in a long time that I've had, live. I was drinking at the local watering hole and for the first time in a long time I had a discussion with someone I'd never met before about boxing. He told me he hated UFC and we talked about the following fighters: Tyson, Julio Cesar Chavev, Jose Luis Castillo, Mayweather, Judah, Tszyu, Corrales, Lewis, Klitschko brothers, Bowe, Pacquiao, Hatton, De La Hoya, Hopkins, Jones, Ruiz, Kevin Rooney, Cus D'Amato, Teddy Atlas, Floyd Patterson, Archie Moore, Ezzard Charles, Demarcus Corley, Ron Lyle, George Foreman, Ali, Joe Frazier, Sugar Ray Robinson, Leonard, Hagler, Duran, Benitez, Whitaker, Pep, Tubbs, Holmes, Braddock, Louis, Marciano, the list goes ON. Just thought I should start a thread about how great boxing is. **** I love this sport.
Great to hear that, yes its a great sport. It definitely has its up and down but all in all a great sport. I follow the UFC but boxing is still were I get the wow effect.
I always enjoy when i meet someone who is knowledgeable about Boxing. Most people i meet either dont watch boxing or they are casual fans, But once i Meet a knowledgeable fan usually ends up in a real long conversation.
