I agree:good Too much was made of the fact that he got the **** beat out of him for 12 rounds by Cotto. He lived off that for a couple of fights, but now people are beginning to see him in a real light again: an ordinary champion in a sub-standard division. Fair play to Hatton for the charity stuff, and cheers for the info Jeff.
"no one can possibly be as smallminded and bitter as you try to come across." *********************************8 Hatton probably ****ed his boyfriend :nono :nut
I honestly think something like that must have gone on, whether Hatton has broken into Bettys house and **** in the bath or something...I don't know...:huh
It's great how fan friendly he Is but he does It a little too much at times which can attract people who are yesman and stuff. Reading a British boxing.net article with Graham talking about guys who he thought were friends who never wanted to see again after the PBF fight who were described like they were hangers on. Don't get why people hate him personally, I only criticise his ring career but don't hate him.
Maybe if more top fighters were as accessible and freindly as hatton is the sport would be getting more mainstream attention :good As for the haters they can go **** em selves up the arse :smoke When any one here has done 10 % of what hatton has achieved then maybe say something. Instead of sitting on there fat arses with there **** in there hands looking at a computer screen :-( I really cant stand hating on any boxer, who has the guts to get in the ring and give us so many hours of entertainment :deal I didn't know that some one who wins belts in 2 diff weight catergories and only losing to the bigger and respective p4p 1 in the sport could make you a bum :rofl Sure i don't like some fighters but thats not to do with them so much as it is there :blurp nut hugger fans talking ****, but i don't hate on them i just tell it like it is. As ive said before if you don't like a fighter don't watch or talk about them it's not that hard is it ?
That is the sort of thing that chief hugger Sleazenation would say...... but in this instance I am inclined to agree.
Well I went to see the Audience with Hatton and Bruno last night and came away a bit disappointed. Bruno was ok, mostly took questions from the floor gave brief answers but didn't seem to remember much and knew very little about the current state of boxing. Hatton basically did an 'end of the pier' type comedy show that was quite amusing but had some very old and oft heard gags in there, he looked comfortable joked about his weight, but if he is thinking about making a career of it he needs some new material and the ability to deal with idiots who shout **** out. He slagged off Junior Witter (calling him a knobhead) which drew cheers from the mostly skinhead pissed up idiot audience (it was virtually in Southend after all) He seems to hold the WBU title in fairly high regard and seems to honestly believe that it is a 'World Title':nut It was a fairly short night for 25 quid, Bruno was on for 40 mins tops, Hatton for maybe 45, I would have liked to have seen him cut the comedy aspect down and heard him answer some questions and told a few more fight anecdotes, but all in all it wasn't a bad night.
It is a world title! Technically anyway..... I started up my own sanctioning body, the WBL (World Boxing League). I had a fight with my best mate's sister's ex-chap (total wanker anyway) and declared myself a world champion. I was wearing a belt at the time, so took some tip-ex out of my cousins schoolbag the next day and proceeded to write WBL on the centre of the strap. The ring was the dancefloor in the local WMC (about 20ft square) and a guy resembling Dave Parris was walking across it to the bar at the time as well. I tell you what, I am about 175 right now, and in training for a half marathon. Therefore in a couple of weeks I will be about 168 - I can therefore chin somebody else and be one of only a score of fighters ever to win a title at one weight, and then move down and win another. In all seriousness, hugger or hater, many people actually think that Junior Witter is a knobhead (most people I know do) regardless of his abilities in the ring.
I am the WBL Welterweight champion. I didn't win any fights, i have been interim for a year an nobody fought me, so i am now full champ.
