You see, the problem with Sugar Ray Robinson is that he never faced tough, Euro-level opposition. His avoidance of Euro-level athletes cannot be ignored when considering his legacy. In my opinion, Robinson would not fare as well in this era. He would beat Berto, Peterson, Clottey, and Jones but lose to Selcuk Aydin, Jan Zaveck, and Victor Postol among other Eurotalents.
