as a big Floyd fan i really dont have much concern about this fight. Mayweather wins this. :good unfortunately i do see a lot of people calling Canelo a green hype job afterwards. so be it...
the **** im talking about is trout dominating canelo in the sixth and then scoring the knockdown in the seventh. he was losing the fight going into the seventh round. do you want the lifetime esb ban bet or not?
the most conclusive dominant round won by either man was the sixth when trout was teeing off on canelo and had him against the ropes for a large portion of the round. I give props to canelo for overcoming adversity as the fight was clearly not going his way up until the seventh round knockdown which assured his win as he in all likelihood knew that judge Stanley Christodoulou was in his pocket. if it weren't for the knockdown and trout wins the seventh, Austin has a good case for claiming the fight was a robbery as he outlanded canelo by twice as many shots in five rounds whereas canelo never accomplished this in one single round. http://compuboxonline.com/compubox-stats-alvarez-w-12-trout/ this is fact and not esb canelo nuthugging jibberish. Floyd wins a comfortable UD win against canelo in September and ill esb ban bet anyone here. the most conclusive definitive aspect of canelo/Floyd is that mayweather promotions and al haymon aren't going to allow another Stanley Christodoulou situation and if so, it will be canelo and gbp on the wrong side of the trade. this is fact.
Shut your ****** ass up, don't make me PM Submersive (Donaire's wife) and tell her you're over here posting without her permission, she'll have that ass wearing lip gloss and panties again.
If you knew jack **** about boxing you'd know that Alexander would be the tougher of the two fights, not the more popular but Alexander has a better chance of winning than Canelo does. That's for a different day though, we will see this play out going forward, just remember what Im telling you.
Not going to happen two fights into six fight contract. Makes no business sense for SHO. Who does Floyd fight after? Pac? Get serious, Top Rank and HBO will never allow that to happen. Canelo is the carrot in front of the cart. I see this fight in 2015 not this year. Still think it will be Garcia or Khan.
I would be surprised if this fight takes place in September. I always felt it would be best suited to May, with the promotion lasting around 5 months and it being Cinco De Mayo. Also Canelo could have a battle with Cotto whilst Mayweather could defeat a Garcia or an Alexander, giving the fight that much more hype. However a September fight would be amazing and I will be all up for it, having said that the fight hasn't been signed and I'm not too sure it will just yet.
IF this fight happens in september, and thats a big if, Mayweather will have to win very convincingly in order to actually win. Those judges will be heavily favoring Canelo in this, and honestly, I expect a robbery in favor of Canelo followed by a subsequent trilogy, not to mention the hoards of *******s saying "I told you mayweather was all hype"
Na man, the boxing world can change within a day. The Pacquiao scenario has taught others that fights should not be assumed to take place in the near future because anything can happen. A star can fade away overnight and a star can also be born overnight. Expect the Canelo fight to be Mayweather's next or his next fight after that. There are so many boxing names out there that they don't mention Floyd's name next to right now because they arent in that bracket however by 2014 or 2015 everyone will want Floyd to fight them hence why he should make the most out of all opportunities right now. In a years time it could be another top fighter in the line; could be Broner, Brook, Thurman, Porter, Alvarado, Jones anyone. The point I'm trying to make is boxing changes in an instance and you can't predict the future, so the Canelo fight should take place sooner rather than later.
on the scene they said floyd stopped by the showtime offices on wendesday and told them that he is indeed fighting on sept 14th
