Just been reported on SkySports news over in the UK. Khan himself stated that talkes have begun, but he 'isn't looking past Peterson.'

He stated if he is successful in the Peterson fight he will take a tune-up at 147 and then face PBF.

I think time is of the essence in this one if he wants to get it made - he might have to set a date sooner rather than later for PBF, by-passing a tune-up. Hopefully this one can get signed - but there is sure to be a few twists and turns before it does.

Well that's going to take a long ass time then. Floyd could still fight a fight in between. Khan doesn't fight til December and when would the tune-up be?

Bad idea having Floyd as his first opponent at the weight.

Floyd better not schedule a fight with Khan, he has to fight pacquiao first.
Khan can fight brook or someone else first at 147 then floyd late 2012.

I know. If Khan sticks by his plan then I guess a fight introducing him to the weight would be March? Then fight Floyd in summer? :-(

If he wants to get in there with Floyd he is going to have to do it by Floyd's demands unfortunately - even if that means having him as his first opponent at 147.

Khan won't take a risk against Brook. At least not until he gains a strap - would be a step backwards I think. If he wants a fight at 147, before taking on PBF it will be a 'less dangerous' pick.

Floyd won't fight Pac before Khan.

Too bad, Pacquiao already have Bradley line up next in line. Manny will fight Bradley in 2012, and Floyd will fight Khan in 2012.

Khan vs Mayweather will do huge numbers. Pacquiao vs Bradley will be lucky to do better then Pac vs Clottey.

All this proves is while Manny continues to duck the tests, that Mayweather has more options and better opponents.

I mentioned that before. WW divisions would be stacked

    WBA Brook
    WBC Floyd
    IBF Berto
    WBO Pac

Then Khan could challenge one of them
