    Harry Wills was good in the art of clinching, he punched with hooks to the body, too. This I have read about him. Unfortunately we only have very few films about this fighter.

    breland could fight inside. but he was a outside fighter who closed in for the kill. you could say hearns as well for that matter. oh yeah iran barkley. 6'1 taller than most of his opponents and was a swarming machine

    I dont think you could say Hearns , he occasionaly shortend up his punches on the inside but i wold say he fought small, he used his leverage so he had to gain maximam distance for his fists to "fly". He was trained by Manny Steward , the guy is the formost expert on fighting tall. But i do agree maybe to a small extent that he would occasionaly, very occasionaly, fight small.

    McCallum is a good shout because unlike many of the other fighters on this list, fighting in close never really put him in danger.
