Tancy Lee Footage

    Hey there,

    I am a relative of the Scottish boxer James Tancy Lee.

    I have been trying to track down footage of Tancy Lee during his boxing career, but I do not know really where to start. I know that there is a clip of one of his fights against Jimmy Wilde, but perhaps somebody here will be able to recommend a way to get access.

    The fights date from around 1915, and are possibly archived somewhere. Also, if anybody here has footage of a fight then please reply to the thread.

    Simon , I know this sounds obvious but have you contacted BBC Scotland for instance ? i they haven't got any footage they could possibly point you in the right direction , Good luck . Josey
