The argument works both ways. Had he fought Loma when he was20/21 without the necessary experience he has now and lost many would have condemn as a no hoper. Any way let’s see where Loma is against Haney.

No it doesn't. Loma had to move up from 126 and 130 because none of the other champions at those weights would face him or fights against them couldn't be made for whatever reason. That's why he's up at 135. Twink held the belt when Loma called him out. He's repeatedly called him out and Twink has repeatedly ducked him for nigh on seven years. They've wanted absolutely nothing to do with a prime version of Loma.

    1. JMM called Mayweather out of retirement. Hatton also called out Mayweather.
    2. Mayweather skills protected him
    3. Margarita was not the same size as Mayweather. He was much bigger than Mayweather.
    4. Mayweather fought bigger fighters all his career. Corrales, De La Hoya, Canelo, Maidana and Castillo just to name a few.
    5. Hernandez was 130 champ when Mayweather beat him. His first title. Mayweather was past him prime too when he fough Pac, and is 3 years older. So try again.
    6. Another false claim lol
    7. Canelo was 42-0 when they fought. Far from green!
    8. Canelo called out Mayweather and said he willing to fight at catch weight, so Mayweather took the offer.
    9. Never fight away from the boxing capital because he's the A side, and all the big fights happen there, duh!
    10. Learn what boxing is, than you would understand he boxed people ears off! The objective in boxing is to hit and don't get hit.

Well put together and highly authoritative and instructive.

Too inactive IMO. He reminds me of Judah in a way, yet I feel by the end Judah will be the one with more accomplishments comparing resumes. I doubt Tank fights all of these guys around his weight while they are all in peak form.

Perfectly put. It’s shameful the hate an ATG like Floyd gets, I swear some posters don’t even watch the fights. Most of the time Floyd was the one undersized come fight night.

If he cleans out his entire weight range (most or all of the best a division up & down from him and of course at lightweight) then he's barely in and not particularly highly ranked p4p among the rest of the ATG crop.

His legacy now - and probably also when all is said & done - is thus: significantly greater fighter & better career than our last pretender for the "Mayweather's successor" throne, Adrien Broner - and yet still just as much distance on the other side out in front between him and PBF. Insurmountable, really.
