Mayweather was able to do what he was able to do because of his superior reach. There weren't many times he fought someone with the same or longer reach than him. He didn't fight many people taller than him either. In contrast, most of lomachenkos opponents are now taller than him and everyone he fights has longer reach with his measly 65 inch wingspan.

You can't box the way Floyd did with a significant reach disadvantage. It's partly why McGregor gave Floyd some trouble because he actually had a significant reach and size advantage.

Does anyone expect Loma to move down to fight Tank???

Personally think expectations around here would be these guys have to go to Loma's weight to fight him.
Tank @ 130 you cucks will say no....
Mikey @ 140 you cucks will also say no....

Tank can just wait until Loma gets even older he has time on his side just like Canelo vs GGG
If Loma wants him now he must pay the price and lose those 5 lbs LOL

Hell like GGG saying he could make 154 easily, Loma says he's a natural 130lber ffs

Loma would die making 130lbs now lol, he's a huge 135lber!!!
I don't know how he even makes 135lbs tbh and to say he can make 130lbs is laugable because we all know he wont for the Tank mega pay day!!!

Tank is a freak of a 130lber and he will fill out 135lbs absolutely no problem, even 140lbs he will be solid.
Tank is a big name so he can pick where and when and if he has an advantage at 130 why wouldnt he fight there!!!

If we say Loma is a small 135lber and natural 130lber than wtf doesnt he just chase Tank there???

Tank will absolutely annhilate him at any weight, it will be like a novice vs an ATG

He’d be 34 and I believe he was winning Olympic gold.

The point is, don’t talk trash now, if you aren’t prepared to back it up now.

Loma is not a "huge 135lber". I think that's fairly clear in terms of dimensions and size. He is a natural 130lber

'Basically tamed him for the rest of the fight'

    Down in round 6...

Had his second highest punch output in the 8th..

    Stopped him in round 10.

If thats what being 'tamed' is... lmao.

Nonsense PBF carried Conor when he wanted to turn it up he turned it up. This whole reach thing is ridiculous. What's next? You get bash a fighter because he never fought a guy with more power than him? More speed than him? A better chin than him? A better workrate than him? This can go on and on. PBF was able to do what he did because he's once in a generation fighter who's a skilled complete fighter who can fight at all ranges with a high ring IQ and defense.

From the way Tank and more so Floyd talks about Loma it sounds like they just dont want to face the Ukranian. Their words always look to distance themselves from a fight with him.

Tank should respect his elders, he don't want Loma now, imagine when he's angry

I dont often agree with you but you’re spot on here. Floyd carried Conor’s ass, could have had him out of there in 2 rounds. Also Floyd didn’t fight anyone with longer reach because Floyd himself had unnaturally long reach

On the other hand Floyd ducked Khan and I firmly believe Khan would have beaten Floyd, he was the worst possible match up for him. Floyd would have to go back to his PBF style to have a shot at beating Khan

That big bowling ball head of Twink's probably weighs more than his last two opponent's do combined.

But seriously, 130 pounder Twink, who makes weight by the skin of his teeth and has already lost one of his world titles on the scales due to not being able to make weight and very nearly lost his current one last time out when he fought that super-bantamweight dude weighs more on fight night than Loma does who is fighting at 135 but is clearly a natural 130 pounder and only rehydrated a few pounds after the weigh in for his two fights at 135. And Loma already said he will go back down to his natural weight class for Twink FFS. Twink would already have moved up to 135 if Loma wasn't up there lol.

I actually do agree with this to an extent.

I think that Floyd benefited tremendously from not having to fight many fighters that were significantly dimensionally larger than him.

I think dimensions would definitely give him some issues (then again... I think it would to most fighters)

But him having some issues against McGregor has as much to do with his age, inactivy, lack of sparring, and gameplan, as it did with size (which yes, did play a factor)
