Facts are you simply can't box the same way against a taller boxer vs a shorter boxer. If Mayweather fought consistently taller individuals with 74-80" reach he wouldn't have turned into the defensive Money May, but he would have to fight PBF style.

The difference between Loma's 65 inches and Floyd's 72 inch reach is 7 inches. At Loma's weight class 70 inch reach isn't unusual. This is like if Floyd fought someone with 77 inch reach. You simply can't box the same way against someone with much longer reach, and this is why Loma can't adopt a similar defensive style as Floyd.
The only way it would work against much longer fighters is if you had one punch KO power.
