I agree but how long do you think he can stay at 135?
Wait for it.
Wait for it...
^This guy gets it.
Loma beats tank
Tank will be fighting Golovkin before we know it. He's a chubby cannonball of a guy.
Haney, Tank, Loma, and Lopez (if they rematch) will all beat him, comfortably.
How is Tank the best when his own promoter/manager Floyd tells us that he's being protected?
Tank hasn't beaten a single top 10 opponent at lightweight yet and is only going to face the weakest member of the top 10 this weekend because he's a cherry picking hypejob.
Josh Taylor is too good regardless of size.
And he shouldn't have had an SD by any means, the fact you give credence to a judge's score which was clearly biased and wrong is just silly.
Tis true he will outgrow the division. But I'm just looking at some positives here: he is calm under pressure, a rational fighter. He's not afraid to grow as a fighter asking Linares about if he had punching power and it seems like he has a great dad as seen on the Tyson podcast.
I'm not like this new wave of boxing fans who only respect judges scorecards only if they are in favor the fighter that they support. Too much of that it going on. We don't have to scrutinize every single scorecard and call them clearly biased. My reply was to the guy who said that the only fight who can beat Kamosos at 135 is Loma. Which is absolutely ridiculous. The fanboyism is off the charts these days.
Exactly, this was a split decision the exact same way Fury-Wilder 1 was a draw... That is to say it simply wasn't, but it only takes one bad card to swing it.
It's easy to be calm under pressure when you limit that pressure by suppressing the quality of opposition.
The harder the fight, the harder it is to remain calm under that pressure.
However you want to slice it, resumes tell you a lot about just how far you can or can't take the eye test.
An underwhelming resume means that the eye test can't declare greatness - and Tank's resume thoroughly underwhelming.
