I think Loma is the best 135lber, followed by Haney.

Haney has better potential than Tank. His jab is elite, star quality already. Just needs to improve the rest of his game and be careful with that chin. He will go far based on his jab alone. He doesn't have a big punch like Tank or Teofimo.. but he doesn't need it.

I feel like Tank has reached his ceiling.

Apparently Tim Bradley injured both of his legs severely in the first Manny Pacquiao fight. He subsequently had to use a wheelchair. My point being imagine all that hoopla going on as a ringside judge, you hear "**** my leg is broken," then you hear Joel Diaz say "do you want me to stop the fight?" "Hell no" this would definitely sway the judging and who's to benefit from it truly??? Tim said after the mp first fight people were telling him to eff himself, that he was a loser, a paper champ, a fake champion etc. This caused him to be suicidal. Apparently some Hawaiian cat pulled him out of his slump by not dissing him, throwing him the Aloha during Timmy's vacation. This made him see there was still good people in this world, snapped him out of it. The rest, you know, a trilogy with Pac or was it two? Can't remember. Anyway they should mandate that after a controversial decision there should be like ten of us fans judging the fight on tv with allowing pauses for conversation, and everyone Must have a log sheet, a paragraph or two about each round, power in numbers.

What if judge a can only see Hopkins ball hit while judge b sees no low blow.? Judge b seems it a correct body shot.

Don't get me started on guys being robbed, David tua once broke his hand by punching a wall out of unhappiness. Ishe Smith has been robbed blindly too telling of horror stories, ray Beltran could never pick up a w because of his sparring partner by nature.

I think they are all overrated.Garcia got dropped. Tank is a midget and keeps fight featherweights.Fimo is delusional. Haney can't punch. I would say Kambosos is the dark horse to beat all of them.

Yep I agree with that. He is still so young that he will learn more with each fight. His body shots in the Linares fight were excellent aswell He rarely missed and his speed gave Jorge fits. Tying his opponent up when stunned is exactly what a good fighter should do and thats what his coach would have been screaming at him to do had he tried to slug it out instead, so he's definitely a clever fighter and ahead of his years in that respect. Seems to fight with the head more and doesn't let his emotions take over.

Na, Taylor is a B level fighter. He has size advantage but take that away and put him at WW and IMO he is Porter level. He’d get beat by real A level guys like Spence and Crawford, clearly.

As for this thread. I think Loma may be the best at 135. I’m town between Davis power and Lomas skills. Gun to my head, I think I’d go with Loma.

You think Kamobosos, Ryan, Haney or Lopez beats him?

Only Loma has a good shot and that’s a 50/50 fight. Maybe 60/40 to Loma if he’s not past it yet.

Why do you say Teo had a bad night? Because he lost?

People said that when Loma lost to Lopez. I never heard so many excuses.

thats true. people say its the shoulder with loma, but i see no evidence of him favoring anything. he threw very hard shots with both hands with no sign of deficiency. people say teo had a crap game plan and corner. i actually see lots of evidence of that. flat feet, stupid instructions, etc... i think loma had a bad night due to his approach in the fight, but i feel the same for teo. the shoulder injury and the tear in the respiratory system did not show in the fights.

I don’t think it’s easy for these sort of injuries to “show” in fight. Fighters mask their injuries very well.

Boxing they say is 80% psychological, if you know you can only throw with one arm at 70%, that affects your game massively and can be the difference between win or lose. Specially when winning or losing is the difference between a couple of punches landed per round.

I always said Loma beats Lopez in a rematch. I think it’s even more clear now.
