Gervonta didn't seem too react to well when Pedraza was laying it on him in the only round Pedraza won, which tells me when he gets in the ring with someone who can actually hurt him with a punch, he'll crumble like a little girl, Pedraza is skilled as he could but he can't crack an egg, and tonight he threw skills out of the window tonight and tried to outslug a slugger, it was the wrong time to try to prove your manhood. Vargas massacres this kid though.
Davis by KO. Well not confident but i think he has too much speed and power. My only question can he take a good punch. Pedraza doesn't hit that hard.It was all to easy too smack him about but you know Vargas can hit.
I hate to break it to you but I'm pretty sure Miura hits waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay harder than Tank, and Gervonta isn't quite as relentless or crafty as Salido. As much as I like Pedraza, I'd pick Vargas and probably Salido over him in a heartbeat.
You can pick who you wanna pick, I just don't share you sentiments. He took a beating (even though he won ) against Miura and he took a beating against Salido. I think that Davis hits harder than both those gents( my opinion). The main thing is that it will be mostly a one way beating because Davis won't be getting hit with that much return fire. He is a young man with skills and power, plus a lot of dog in him. I think that Vargas would be in some serious trouble and I would be concerned for his health.
How many Miura matches have you seen, because I've seen a lot, that's a bold statement, they call him The Bomber Left for a reason. He has a lot of talent, but he doesn't need to be thrown in with the big dogs yet, the Pedraza match was a risk, but he was the lightest hitting low hanging fruit in the division, who was draining himself to make weight don't read too much into tonight's win.
I don't care what they call him, I saw his fight with Vargas and it's the only time I saw him fight. He hits hard but he can't fight and got his ass stopped but Vargas still took a lot of punishment. He also took a lot of punishment against Salido. First good shot and his face starts busting up. You can downplay Padraza if you want to but he is no slouch. I read an article on him speaking over at the scene and he stated that he was in tremendous shape and ready to show Davis who was boss. When he loses, he says he was drained. Believe what you wanna. Plenty of young fighters have hit the ground running and never looked back. Davis has the poise and skills to keep moving forward and I wouldn't tune him down because he thrives on a challenge. That's better for him and it sharpens his game. I just think that he would hurt Vargas. My opinion.
