tank. early ko. valero could punch. that's it. he had no chin, defense or technique. hands down, face first brawler that never fought an elite. tank by destruction.

Given how leaky Valero's defense was and the fact that he was hurt/dropped by far lesser punchers, i dont see this ending well for him.
to much energy and relentless pressure for tank who aint no defensive master and would crack in the later rounds imo
Would Davis have the discipline to box smart? Does he have the skillset to keep someone as tenacious and heavy handed as Valero at bay? IMO, that would be his only way to beat Valero. If he got caught up in trading, he loses.
I’d go with 27-0 27 kos over the guy still being treated like a prospect by his promoter at the age of 27.
