Obviously favor Pac but don’t be shocked if tank would’ve slept him. Excellent timing and excellent power.
Make it happen. 43/44 year old Pac Vs. Tank at 147. Pac by murder still. Before y'all bitches say Pac's too big, Tank was 146.6 on fight night against Gamboa. That's a mere 2-3 pounds lighter than "welterweight" Pac.
Realistically we only ever saw a singular performance from Pac at lightweight, against David Díaz. It was a hell of a performance, though. Díaz also, informatively, was a fellow southpaw, and of similar dimensions to Davis (but with a bit more height and reach). Stylistically nothing alike, of course, and probably a good couple of levels inferior. That said, it was a punch-perfect outing from the Pambasang Kamao during more or less his peak era. He dominated every minute and put a bow on it with a finish over a tough & decent title holder with a few rounds to spare. It still is a very small sample size of a sort we should always be cautious to glean too much from, but I feel it was enough to suggest that favoring Pac in this one (the version of him from that night with Díaz, in with any Tank seen to date) at 135lb makes a lot of sense.
Tank isn't any faster and thus won't be landing first in a firefight, and his defense and footwork aren't masterful enough to avoid exchanges with a determined and young-ish Emanuel Dapidran.
