Tank Davis vs Shakur Stevenson, Who Wins?

Tank does not lose rounds. Yesterday he easily won 5 or 4 of the completed rounds and the only round he lost concensus wise was the 1st round and only because he chose to by not throwing a punch but merely feeling Ryan to clock his rhythm and analyze his data then you see what happened after the 1st round.

 

Probably not because the fight probably doesn't get made.

But if it happens, I think we'll see him dominated. Not that Tank is a bad fighter, he's just going to get beaten at his own counter punching game. Much like how Marquez as good as he was, was at a big style disadvantage against Maywether, I think Tank will just not be able to adapt and fight in the more aggressive manner he will need to when he's out boxed by Stevenson.

 

It’s a big if that you assume Shakur outboxes Tank because nobody has ever outboxed Tank. That’s your first mistake and flawed assumption.

 

You do know Tank is one of the most accurate cats out there. Shakur has never faced a fighter like Tank that’s for sure.

 

Not even convinced that Bob Arum will make that fight.

Don't think it will happen, Arum I think is aiming at Loma at least that's the name he seems to mention the most when talking about Shakur.

 

That is the fight that was advertised to us yesterday. Nice to see Tank win rounds and do more early on.

I do see your point as Shakur is on a different planet to Garcia, but hard to see where Tanks ceiling is until he is tested
