The guy is disrespectful and rude. You and I are sometimes on different sides of a discussion however we conduct our discussions with civility. Him telling me my opinions are **** is not the way to get the best out of me. I am not saying I am always right or my opinions infallible but one thing people will appreciate is that I do know boxing. All of this discussion you don’t see me denigrating JT because even though I know Tank will beat him I believe in JT’s ability. In fact he reminds me a lot of a fighter I once managed.

I think you are the dumbass. You really think JT is unbeatable at 140 pounds! Weep and cry when the fight happens and I am proven right again.

As far as I’m concerned Tank is an unknown quantity at this level whereas we’ve seen Taylor beat absolute world class opposition on more than one occasion. We know Taylor is one of the best in the world, Tank has potential but it’s just that for me as it stands, potential.
I would be absolutely shocked if he did beat Taylor but if he did pull it off he’d be straight into my P4P top 10, maybe even 5. I think it would be that significant an accomplishment.

Taylor should be the favorite he's the champ but Tank has more than a puncher's chance in this match up. Tank is better than Ramirez who won rounds off of Taylor.

Yes he is. He would mess Ramirez up and would be favored over him if they ever fought.

On what basis? I’m genuinely curious as to what you’ve seen from Tank that makes him better than what we’ve seen Ramirez do?

Let me take you guys down memory lane my main man the formidable Edwin Rosario one of the finest boxer punchers to come out of Puerto Rico affectionately known as “El Chapo” was favourite when defending his Lightweight belts against Julio Cesar Chavez who was moving up in weight like Tank. I have said it before and I will say it again Tank is a problem for anybody between 135-140 pounds.

Ramirez is a good fighter but nothing special, Prograis would have beaten him. He's chinny slow has leaky defense. A guy like Tank who's mentally tough has legit power at 140 can make adjustments is much faster. Let me see Ramirez move up 2 weight classes to 154 and take on a title holder there. He would get beat down. Tank is dwarfed at 140 his style typically doesn't carry up in weight like that with his size but he still had his way with Barrios a puncher and was much bigger than him. Ramirez wouldn't beat Charlo at 154 who would be much bigger than him or Lubin at 154 for example in his first fight if he did the same like Tank did.

Fair enough. Moving up in weight the way he has done is I don’t disagree Tank has a very high ceiling but I want to see it before I’m sold on it. I’d much prefer to see someone stay in their division and fight the best than move up and fight a bum. I’m also not having the ‘title holder’, Barrios was a nobody and the ‘title’ is a sham let’s face it.

Before any accusations I’m not a Tank hater, I am a big fan and I think he’s one of the most exciting prospects in world boxing, but I want to see him in against some top fighters before I’d say he’s capable of beating someone like Taylor.

If he does beat Taylor he’s clearly the real deal. No question.
