Tank is overrated.

Mostly all of today's top fighters are overrated barring Fury, Canelo Alvarez, and Crawford nobody wants to really prove themselves in a real way.
Maybe I'm spoiled from the past era where we actually had level's of proven champions, ex champions, and grizzly veteran journeyman/ gatekeepers you had to go through to actually be considered a top fighter.

Paulie Malignaggi was considered a feather fisted guy from the past era but his resume would break 90% of today's fighters. And he was considered C level by most.

 

Yeah, Tank, Haney, Shakur, Garcia, Charlo, Andrade - all of them are overrated by US casual fans.

Nobody has beat legit top fighters and still they are saying that they are the best.

 

We'll never know if Tank is overrated because Floyd is making him duck everybody in favour of paychecks.

Next year will be the same old nonsense that we've seen for the past few years.

The obvious fight to make is Loma. Why? Cause Garcia is busy with twitter and Instagram and Haney and Kambosos will likely do the undisputed fight. Problem is..everybody and their dog knows Tank won't fight Loma.

My personal opinion..Tank isn't even the best Davis in the division. Keyshawn slaps him round the ring and KOs him cold.

 

How is Tank overrated when I really only hear critiques of him? Far more than anyone portraying him as a P4P top guy, or "the man". Very few people even give Tank any credit whatsoever. I don't think he's ever been considered anything other than top 5ish in any division he's campaigned in, never even #1 or 2.

That doesn't sound like being overrated.

Exactly! All he does it get hate not praise. Many more threads like this about Tank than praising him as some top 10 P4P talent. Just because PBF hypes him doesn't mean anything, that's his job he's his promoter.

Yep, Tank more likely to fight another small guy or washed up old guy than a top LW in his next fight. He’s ran from Loma for so long it’s not even an issue. Why isn’t Tank demanding a Haney fight? Haney is pushing for a Kambosos fight but if it falls through, no way Tank is stepping up.

Floyd knows how to play chumps and Tanks fans are the biggest chumps in boxing. Look at the comments from them on Twitter and YouTube. They actually think the top guys are ducking Tank. No one is ducking a 27 year old midget who hasn’t improved in years because he’s fighting bums. I would love to be proven wrong because it would make 135 way more exciting if Tank lived up to half his hype but I expect him to be exposed the next time he faces a legit opponent. The chumps will be shocked but real boxing fans know a cherry picking hypejob fraud when they see it.

 

Ill take Bud over Canelo but they are both skilled fighters. Bud needs to be more active and somehow get the Spence fight. He destroyed Porter, forced him into retirement. How many people were hyping Porter before the fight? I like both guys but Bud is in a tough spot with his bigger stuff $$$opponent being allowed to duck him. If they fight, Crawford is going to show the world why he’s at the top of the sport. Canelo will be too busy trying to cherry pick the weakest big name in another weight class, avoiding top guys.

 

I've seen your anti-American posts before and have ignored them. You only focus on American fighters with your hate I don't see you doing the same to other fighters I wonder why?
