Tank needs to forget roach, his legacy was already subpar and Roach has his number. Picking on smaller fighters is dishonorable in the boxing circles but Tank is small.

Tank NEEDS to drag Inoue up from 122 for a big fight at 135, this is the only way he can earn the respect of the boxing fans. A fully rehydrated 140 pound Inoue would give Tank all he can handle, but Inoue is also a big name and pfp top 3. If Tank wants to duck the smoke at 135 and still be apart of massive fights that boxing fans can enjoy then he should fight Inoue

Wtf no one wants that fight.

Wahid can fight Roach, Loma, Shakur and Davis. Then move up and face the champion at LWW.

If he does all that he seals his legacy.

I want that fight. I want to see what a monstrous fully rehydrated Inoue would look like vs Tank he can win that and become pfp#1

    Tank dimensions -
    Height: 5'5"
    Reach 67½ in
    Rehydration weight: 150lb

    Monster dimensions -
    Height 5'5"
    Reach 67½ in
    Rehydration weight: 138lb

    No.

Wahid has enough fights in his own division that will cement his legacy, he doesn't need to be fighting super bantamweights.

    This is a terrible thread.

I believe Inoue can beat Tank and it's guaranteed to be the biggest fight of the year if it were confirmed. I believe in Inoue ability, that's why I don't see it as a bad fight for Tank

There's no precedent in boxing history for a 122 pound champion jumping directly from 122 to 135 and winning a world title. Pac did it, but it certainly wasn't a direct jump and Pac was very young when he fought at 122 and filled out over each weight class he jumped.

Inoue is fighting the last half of his prime at 122, and there's no guarantee he would even be effective at 126, let alone 135.

Davis is too big for Inoue. Stank needs to worry about guys around his own weight class. There's more than enough good fighters from him to duck there.

Inoue is a super bantamweight, Davis is a lightweight, weight categories exist in boxing for a reason. It would simply be a nosense match (just like Canelo - Crawford).

In addition, in the lightweights there are Lomachenko and Stevenson, so there is no missing of important names for Davis (Which I hope he faces Roach again first)

"Fight Inoue to earn the respect of boxing fans"? Really?

Shakur Stevenson is available if Davis wants respect, which he doesn't. I'm sure Turki will be happy to stage it as a part of Riyadh season even in USA

Inoue's next four opponents are Cardenas, Akhmadaliev, Nick Ball at 126 and Junto at 122 in spring of next yead. Assuming he gets past the very stiff last three names there, he might be out of his prime after.

Tank is going to take off another 8 months, KO some lesser opponent, and all of the Roach stuff will be all but forgotten about.

The only things Inoue stands to gain from moving up to 135 to spark Twink out is a belt and winning a world title at another weight

But the problem is most people didn't even consider Twink a real world champion in the first place because he was gifted the belt when he was upgraded to full champion after Haney vacated it who, again, most people didn't believe was the real champion because he himself was gifted it by the US boxing mafia after they ever so predictably robbed Loma.

And now most people consider Lamonty Roach the real champion not Twink and even all of Twink's own fans in the venue booed the decision loudly when it was announced the judges had robbed Lamonty Roach and regretted being giving their comp tickets and attending the fight.

And even worse, the chorus of boos was almost deafening when Twink started making excuses about getting grease in his eye after getting dropped so he doesn't even have a fanbase anymore and therefore he holds no financial incentive for Inoue to move up three divisions to annex the belt from him either.

If Inoue were to move up three divisions he would target one of the legit champions like Loma who even though he's 37 and shot to bits is a genuine P4P star and talent and a victory over even this shell of him would be far more legacy defining and financially lucrative for him than beating Twink would be.
