I hate to say it because I am a big admirer of Floyd & how he made business moves but they will never put DAVIS in with any threat.

They just did over 18,000 fighting TRASH yesterday, with Davis making over a million dollar purse...in their eyes, there is no need to fight any elites at 135.

Ellerbe runs Mayweather Promotion & in his eyes, the casuals are Davis fanbase...he doesn't give a F about the diehards because we will watch regardless. The casuals don't know anything about ABC belts & P4P lists so Ellerbe will continue to put Davis in there with mushrooms because they can do 18,000 regardless.

@Pimp C I know you were optimistic last night that Tank would become a free agent and fight the Top Rank guys and leave Mayweather promotions. Doesn't look like that is happening, we would still like to see those fights though, vs Loma, or Ryan Garcia. Can they still be made with Tank staying with Mayweather promotions?

Hearns gave Haney a great contract...he was overpaying him.

Davis may leave Mayweather but he's not leaving AL.

Of course he get paid with AL...but there is always more money and Hearn is dumb enough to overpay. If it wasn't for AL, Davis would bounce for the highest bidder whether it be Matchroom, Top Rank or whoever.

As annoying as it is for the fans I can't say I blame him they seem to treat him like a king. I don't think Top Rank or Matchroom would be able to put him on the kind of pedestal that TMT does.
