This was the only legit title he held. The other two belts he has are WBA "regular" titles, honestly I wonder if his entire career is just an elaborate scheme to shame the WBA into trimming this bull**** down. https://www.badlefthook.com/2021/8/...itle-still-has-belts-135-140-boxing-news-2021 Anyway, which division would you like to see him set up shop in?
Ideally 135 (right now), but I voted 140 cause I'm betting that's where he'll end up. It's where most of his comp at 135 will end up by the time their fights might realistically happen. Not that I think he'll actually ever fight any of the current potentials before he's past his prime, sadly.
I suspect Ol Bob with happiness might agree to make Lopez vs Tank at 135 lbs or Tank vs Taylor at 140 lbs, or Tank vs Crawford at 147 lbs. The big question is what about this will think Floyd. Tank best win is Gamboa and what condition, age and shape he the had we all do know. I hope no questions anymore. I have no doubts that Tank and Lopez with low problems might cut till 147 lbs limit and fight vs Crawford at 147 lbs with little problems. Money might be pretty good and why not? Pro boxing is $ here.
Honestly, he should be at 130. However I selected 135 because there is no realistic way he could make the 130 limit.
140. Quit the jumping around and weight bullying and just focus on one, sustainable, division and try to make fights with genuine top level contenders. He won't, but that's what would be better for the sport and his development/legacy.
That kid is not making 130 again. He should hang his hat at 135 for a while and beat those other guys which I think he will. Then move up and call it a career at 140
Lopez at 135 would be a great match. He won't step in the ring with Lomachenko until Loma is using a walker.
