Thanks Pimp, and fanatic is just a nice way of saying mentally ill.:sisi1 I'm doing pretty good actually. The spread over the top 20 is around 20 picks. It's probably the tightest it's been in years. Although I still have problems controlling my kamikaze compulsions, as usual.

    Not true

And he fought everyone and their dog

    His resume

    Quartey 34-0-1
    Whitaker 41-1-0
    Fernando Vargas 22-1-0
    Hector Camacho 63-3-1
    Miguel Angel Gonzalez 41-0
Julio Cesar Chavez 96-1-1 (100-2-2 for the rematch)
    Genaro Hernadez 32-0-1
    Rafael Ruelas 43-1
    Ricardo Mayorga 27-5-1
    Arturo Gatti 33-4-0
    Felix Sturm 20-0-0
    Jesse James Leija 30-1-2
    Javier Castillejo 51-4-0
    Luis Ramon Campas 80-5-0
    Wilfredo Rivera 27-2-1
    Oba Carr 48-2-1
    John John Molina 36-3
    Steve Forbes 33-5-0
    Jimmi Bredahl 16-0
    Derrell Coley 34-1-2
    Jorge Paez 53-6-4
    Troy Dorsey 12-7-4
    David Kamau 28-1-0
    Darryl Tyson 47-8-1
    Patrick Charpentier 27-4-1
    Carl Griffith 28-3-2
    John Avila 23-3
    Giorgio Campanella 20-0
    Jeff Mayweather 23-2-2

    Lost against

    Manny Pacquiao 47-3-2
    Floyd Mayweather 37-0
    Bernard Hopkins 44-2-1
    Felix Trinidad 35-0
    Shane Mosley 34-0 (38-2 rematch)

And many feel he beat Tito and Mosley. Some felt he was lucky in a couple of his wins too but he fought pretty much everyone out there

In his last five fights, and he was past his best for many of them, he fought a prime Manny, a prime Floyd, and whilst old by normal standards, a prime B-Hop, and a prime Shane too in his last seven

He'd only fought once in 32 months going into the Floyd fight, not at all in a year, and if you scored the rematch to Shane he should've been 1-3 in his last four fights. He gave Floyd everything he could handle

I don't like Oscar. I think he's a weirdo and a phony but he was a hell of a fighter and his resume is super impressive

I certainly don’t like Oscar on that we are agreed. We are also agreed that he was a great fighter and highly talented. Frankly he should have more losses on his record to Sturm, Whittaker and Quartey who really won those fights. I scored both fights against Mosley for Sugar Shane and Tito clearly beat him. You don’t win close fights by running away in the championship rounds. There was a reason he was running for his life namely Tito’s left hook..

The alarming thing for me is that when he was put in more even fights his performance level would fall down which made him seem like a flat track type of bully.

So you scored every close or controversial fight he either won or lost for his opponent? That's very fair and objective of you, Olu

    He lost all these fights?

    Tito
    Sweet Pea
    Quartey
    Shane x 2
    Sturm

Oscar would send Twink to the shadow realm and Twink would never dare go within a 1000 mile radius of lots of the fighters Oscar fought, but one is a ''rare special breed of fighter'' and the other who fought everyone and their dog and took risks Twink never would in a million years can't get a break from you in any of his close fights or razor-close fights which were against absolute beasts for the most part

    Manny (prime)
    Floyd (prime)
    Tito (prime)
    B-Hop (prime)
    Shane (prime)
    Vargas (prime)
    JCC Sr. (past prime)
    Sweet Pea (past prime)
    Camacho (past prime)
    Genaro (prime)

That's just the elite and just below top tier names he fought

Ryan G vs Taylor Swift would break all time PPV records. Both have huge fan bases. She's taller than he is and would have a big height and reach advantage. Fight would be at 140 so no rehydration clauses are needed.

    I think she fights orthodox.

Maybe he would send Tank to the shadow realm if they both fought but I do remember Bob Arum won’t risk him the young Oscar against Uncle Azumah Nelson when Don King sent the contract and instead chose to face Johnny Bredahl to win his first title at 130 pounds. In fact he studiously avoided Azumah Nelson and I understand why. I have never said Oscar was not a great fighter. My issues with him are not as regards his boxing ability. I have big issues with him outside the ring and less issues in the ring.

Will likely be the case again
    post Ryan fight.
    Will be interesting to
See what Tank vs Pitbull Cruz 2 will draw.
If it goes back down to where it was then expect Ryan Vs Tank 2 in the next 2 years once Ryan has hit the showers & cleaned up his game.

    Maybe, we’ll see.
I will say this TMT wil be putting him against Latinos & Mexicans & swerve him from Hanie & Shakur as long as they can.
Risk to reward ratio is not favorable to
    “the green print’

Maybe he or may be he won’t but Floyd , Uncle Al Haymon and Uncle Leonard are showing him the way to the bank as earned over at least $60 Million and counting upwards from last Saturday’s fight with Garcia.

Yeah likely but it will also force
Promoters & fighters to make the fights the fans actually ask for & want.
    So I’ll gladly pay it.

They will take him where the most money is. Tank is highly respected and admired by the Mexican boxing crowd. More Mexicans prefer him to Garcia and there is a reason he is Canelo’s favourite fighter. Tank pushes the needle. He will probably fight Teofimo Lopez or Issa Cruz first and allow Shakur and Haney to build their profiles for a mega fight with him next year.
