    Whether or not the public interest was more so on Garcia or Tank it doesn't really matter at this point, those are good PPV numbers for a big boxing event and that's what the sport needed. The fact that a fight garnered this much attention from both hardcore fans and casuals, and it wasn't by any means that significant historically, is a great sign for boxing itself.

    Yes he is he's cool with alot of rappers and athletes which gets the casuals to take notice.

    Team Twink bought most of his IG followers and of the legit handful only the wannabe gangstas follow him on there. The real OGs disowned him long ago because of the shame he brought on the hood for ducking Loma, his addiction to public displays of fruity dancing, and trying to snog Broner on camera.

    I have many business associates scattered all over Maryland and they tell me all the time that Twink needs a 24/7 security team with him everywhere he goes because there's a bounty on his oompa loomp ass for the shame he's brought upon the hood

    They say the only nightclubs safe enough for him to party in with his boys are located within West Baltimore and if he even dared contemplating partying anywhere else in Maryland outside of West Baltimore his ass is toast.

    And word on the street is he's had a baby with Broner. That's what I'm hearing from my sources over there.

    Yeah but Ryan made the fight possible and look at Tank's numbers before. Tank needs to fight an elite opponent next. His resume is crap.

    That's very likely worldwide. But wait and see on Friday or early next week. Ricky G usually phones into The Coach Malachi Show at 3 (US Time).

    By the way, something I want to mention - day before the fight there were lots of resale tickets on the AXS website.

    1. I knew it had potential to do a million, but 1.4? That shows just how big the fight was. Tank definitely is the face of boxing now, and i doubt well ever see him in non PPV fights again.

    Came here to post something to this effect. They each generate their own demand. Of course tanks other fights had less buys, look at the opponent

    This was a "lighting in a bottle" type fight and I doubt either of them even come close to this in their future fights. Tank is an exiting fighter and should continue to build on this. With the right opponent he probably does somewhere in the 300K buys next fight, unless it's someone like Shakur(that would do better).

    Bottom line, I don't think anyone in the 135/140 lbs division will ever be the "face of boxing".

    Ok?

    He brought a bunch of people out so he could quit in front of them? That's respectable?

    I'd rather be the guy that brought a few fans and won than be the guy that lost and brought all the fans lol

    Apparently those numbers are going to go way down.

    People ordered it on DAZN in the US and the stream failed, so an hour or more after the card began, and with the fight still not showing, they went to Showtime and it worked. And they were charged for both.

    DAZN is trying to sort it out with everyone affected before a class-action lawsuit rears its head. :hang
