How do you think Tank would be vs. a skilled pressure puncher like Pacquaio? I have Pac as the favorite but I could also see Tank catching him and putting him to sleep JMM did to Pac.

Nobody that's currently in the LW top 10 would beat the LW version of Pac

You know when Manny returned after 2019 that's where his Team should have directed him too, even at the age of 42 his skills & experience alone would have been a major problem for them along with more exciting fights as compared to welterweight.

Hmm? Manny never dominated any division, and he would not hold any physical advantages over Tank. Manny's quick but he was hittable, if Morales could land so could Tank.

JMM is one of the best counter punchers of all time is Tank ? No.

That fight took place at Welterweight not Lightweight, where Pacquiao looked atleast 2 levels above Tank.

Marquez the stiff brick puncher, especially below welterweight.

Pac got Knocked Out because he was in the studio singing opera instead of training like a dog the way Marquez did. With that said. Give me a hungry and focused Pacman and Tank will clinch and hold on to the canvas in the end.

Tank's chances are surprisingly high, dude's power is insane. I don't think Pac can evade it for all 12

Ryan was jogging in 2k Dior sweats in Beverly Hills. He lost the dog in him so Garcia quit. Then Goose , ODLH and B-hop skinned out?
This is my theory.. the over/under on rounds was 7 1/2 rounds and Ryan quit in the 7th. It was a money grab.

Is it because boxers fight that much less frequently now than they used to - that people knee jerk so over reactively on the heels of certain, single performances?

Back in the day it might’ve been said sure, good or very good performance but let’s see his next fight against stiffer comp. - but, in this day and age, when will that next fight be and against who?

In the interim, it seems people need to talk up fighters far more than they ever did before - and how many perceived “busts” have we seen because of that need to preemptively ordain certain fighters instead of having more realistic fight schedules to allow pundits to more accurately and more fully assess their true worth?

This might seem cynical and overly harsh - and I get that - but did Garcia disappoint that much more than Tank impressed?

Didn’t Tank more or less win in the fashion most forecasted but with Garcia’s resilience and will proving to be even less than what the most optimistic afforded him - thus not even going a full 6 rounds?

Are we that much better informed on Tank than we were before he fought Garcia to now talk competitive fights vs the likes of Duran and Pac?

    Personally, I don’t think so.

Oh please, you're acting as if it's impossible for Manny to get caught by Tank. Nobody's debating who's greater, Pac's been dropped by much lesser punchers. If he can avoid that bomb for all 12 then he probably wins, but I doubt he could. Sometimes greater fighters just have bad style matchups, **** happens.

Roberto Duran was also dropped twice by Esteban DeJesus who doesn’t punch nearly as hard as Tank. A lot of great fighter have been dropped by lesser punchers, it doesn’t mean a thing. Just because Tank beat the likes of Ryan García and Rolly doesn’t mean he would be able to beat legit great fighters like Pac and Duran.

True, every fighter does go down, but this does matter if you're facing a puncher like Tank. You can argue that Davis is the hardest puncher that Pac has faced at 135, and that alone makes him a live underdog in the fight.
