Tank vs Roach have done the largest gate at the Barclays Center we find out did over 500,000 PPV buys proving once again that Tank is the face of boxing. We now understand why Tank and Uncle Al Haymon will never bend the knee to His Excellency Turki the way the British promoters did now he and Dana White are running them out out of town:

He isn't in the p4p rankings any more.

He isn't part of the biggest cards any more.

He might not take a knee for Turki but he took one for Roach lmao.

I am 100% confident that it did NOT do 500k PPV.

    I find this highly doubtful.

Oh so his numbers are based on nothing.

    Not surprising.

It would be unusually high for him. But then again, this was on Amazon Prime Video. Last time Tank reportedly drew 350k buys on Amazon, which was his first fight on the platform and it was his second best PPV in terms of buys.

If Tank really did 500k buys on Amazon, then it´s more to do with Amazon than Tank being the face of boxing.

Edit: I don´t actually think any trustworthy outlet reported on Tank´s last PPV numbers. These days it seems like someone simply makes up some numbers and everyone runs with it.
Heck, on Google there are/were some fake clickbait news outlets that make up MMA and Boxing purses and PPV buys. I swear those sites are AI generated.

Unfortunately it seems any ppv numbers cant be believed these days.

Only thing one can really go by to see popularity is how the event performs on social media in terms of engagement, but even that can be misleading.

The days of knowing how events performed though are likely gone.

I bet there's a correlation with buys and pages on the rbr threads.

This did about 60 pages which at the time I felt was very low.

Blue bloods TV said it did 200K. Only place I've seen online with any numbers. Olu's most likely full of excrement

Even the main event did very few pages. And that was a fight lots of drama, which usually means lots of comments.

My understanding from my PBC contacts is that it did very well as you would expect with Tank.

You aren't any type of insider to boxing info. You're just a kid who lies constantly on a message board. Hell, you actually thought some poster named Ike was actually Ike Quartey!

So you don't think there's a correlation between ppv buys and rbr engagement?
