It's already been said and there's a similar thread going, but the damage was probably done 15 years ago.The irony is,Johnny pushing his body to the limits when training has probably worked against him given the negative way he abused his health. No matter.Much loved and even more missed.
Sad that he died, but a little honorable in the fact that he was clean and had battled back his addicitons.
Good luck. When I quit partying and finally dropped my final vices, I started exercising to keep myself busy and out of trouble. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't an effort to try and make up for the way I treated my body in my 20s. I'm 36 now and in far better shape than back then.
:good Always a big fan of "Mi Vida Loca." Happy to see he is getting his proper respect from the boxing world. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSzOapuP1zQ[/ame] This made my tear up, but for those who havent seen it, its a great tribute to a great man.
Damn. That is crazy. Atleast it wasn't a relapse or any other set back that caused his death. Just natural.
shows you how human everyone is.... great athlete like Tapia had demons like everyone else and despite being in excellent shape all his life, the damage he did early on caught up to him..... sucks...never heard anyone say a bad thing about him
