Pacquiao took on all comers, never cared much about that "0'. He never ducked anybody, had a few losses, by ko whether to the head (like Marquez) or to the body as a youngster. My point is , a small fighter by the name of agapito Sanchez was able to pesky get to pacquiao with his dirty style (may he rest in peace). Now what about a "one other offensive machine" as in Johnny Tapia, who would win? Johnny said he'd never lose in his own hometown, and PAC was not the perfect fighter at the lower weight classes (pre Freddie Roach days) who seemingly coached Johnny Tapia for a bit. Now after Johnny came back after drugs in '94 who woulda won a Albuquerque NM fight between Manny Pacquiao and Emmanuel Pacquiao at : anything from super fly up till featherweight.? 2 punching machines, battle tested and one a southpaw.

I love both these guys. They gave us some of the most enjoyable fights to watch and always gave their best effort. Tapia was willing to take shots to beat his opponent. That is a bad idea against a prime Pacman. There would have been a lot of Tapia taking shots but missing when he tried to return fire. I have Pacquiao winning this but if this was best of ten I could see Mi Vida Loca winning three of the bouts.

My neighbor (boxed in the old Commonwealth games) claims Johnny mi Vida Loca is the best boxer he's ever seen, and the smartest too (I also agree he had an awesome ring IQ, offensive genius, slipping punches at close range, digging bodyshots) but the pre Murad Mohammed pacman was unheard of territory to me during the 90s efforts. I just remember: (in Asia) one bodyshot loss and maybe another ko loss due to being weight drained? If memory serves me correct.

The PAC I saw vs ledhwaba on the iron Mike Lennox Lewis is on fight, undercard looked like a beast to go against Tapia at that time (maybe year 2000) if memory serves me correct. But once he started ruining the barreras and morales and Marquez s I think at this point was too much for the older Tapia. Don't get me wrong, I was glad he Tapia made 2 million against mab cause he deserved it. It's just those pre Roach days I personally can't attest to have seeing Pacquiao. Also Johnny too was poetry in motion, frenetic energy paced, I was glad he lifted the title off that guy medina!
