This content is protected I don't know why this culture has prevailed with MMA. you would think that with all the different people coming from many different respectable disciplines (BJJ, Judo, Boxing, Judo, wrestling) that this sort of thing would not be mainstream. Obviously it comes from a mixture of consumerism and people who just want to see violence. It is a huge turnoff to many people in legitimate sports and martial arts. I think MMA as a whole needs to work hard to drop this kind of attitude before it will be solidified as a legitimate martial sport. Obviously its not something integral to MMA, I'm well aware that it is a recent development. It just disgusts me in so many ways. I was wondering how many of you guys act like this.
Tapout= Shirts for young men who think they can fight but have no training. These young men also tune into TUF each week and drink xyience shakes because all you need to be a badass is a good protein shake and a Tapout shirt. I would'nt wear a tapout shirt if it were free.
Even after it was broke, Sak had him down for almost ten seconds before the ref finally stepped in. Plenty of time for Renzo for tap. He just wouldn't.
He seemed kinda in shock to me, Sak wasnt pulling it and Renzo was not trying to do anything. Anyway, with regards to that particular tshirt its ****, but I would wear a TapOut shirt if somebody gave it tyo me as a gift or something.
Renzo was actually performing the escape to that kimura. What happened is that when he swung Sak around - he bounced off the ropes which locked in the submission instantly and broke Renzo's arm. After they were on the ground Sak and Renzo looked at his arm and each other and remained quiet. Renzo refused to tap so Sak looked at the ref who finally realized what happened and stopped the fight.
Is it just my imagination or are more fighters choosing to go to sleep than tap lately. Maybe I'm wrong, but I see more stoppages where the ref is checking for that limp arm than I've seen in the past.
under the word tapout, which is the name of their company, they give the definition of tapping out in a derogatory way.
Well if tapout did indeed make this shirt, I think its the biggest symbol of douchebaggery in any sport. And I don't think it is a joke. I think it is some bad attitude moronic tough-guy talk trying to come off as superior to anyone who loses. I don't see what is funny about it.
