Canelo clearly tried to disable Bivols lead hand by delivering repeat power shots to his bicep, similar to the Smith fight.

Are these considered scoring shots? Or blocked shots?

Blocked. Lol. How and why would they be scoring?

It’s a smart strategy if you can injure their arm, that’s it.

    No, they're not scoring shots.

But some of the biased commentators, Canelo fans and corrupt judges pretend they are to give rounds to Canelo.

Canelo barely landed anything last night.

He was not aiming for the arm, that is where his punches ended up due to great defense from Bivol.

Unless you have the work rate of Marciano (100+ punches in the championship rounds) you will have to be a very lucky or an extremely hard punching boxer. Canelo's work rate is way too low for that and at that weight class he doesn't have any exceptional punching power.

Do you mean blocked punches? We saw a lot of those thrown last night by the ginger Hulk. He was still dominated but it gave the announcers something to cheerlead about. I hope he does it in the rematch so you can get beat up again.

Notwithstanding blocked shots, Canelo could be clearly seen shooting for the shoulders/upper arms of Bivol in the fight. Standard professional stuff. Guys here would have you believe it's only him that does it the way they go on.

Should not be the plan A of any fighter. Something to do only when nothing else is available and your output is too low. Disabling Callum Smith's arm was a fluke and not to be counted on.

Not true. Bivol said it himself that he was targeting his arm like he did to Callum Smith.
