    Somebody finally gave lara the credit he deserves. Tarver and the PBC crew are the first tv commentaors i ever heard acknowledge lara's superior ability. lara is truly a top 10 pfp guy. not for his KO power, but for his technical brilliance. rodriguez was basically a walkover for lara...lara won ever minute of every round. maybe not as eye-catching as a ko, but lara has never been a KO specialist. he's not foreman knocking frazier out in two, dropping joe 6 times. he's more like sweet pea whitaker, winning every fight by dominant decision.

    yean, the tendency is to compare cotto-rodrfiguez and lara-rodriguez...but to me, the more meaningful comparison is with cotto-trout to lara-trout. lara already beat canelo.

    lara beats cotto and ggg (at 160, if ggg has the ***** to take the fight)....against fmj though, i gotta go with floyd....floyd has a few more tools.

    Canelo vs Lara could have went either way, pretty much every where you have multiple people scoring Canelo vs Lara the opinions are split.

    c'mon dude....stop frontin you know lara won that fight. canelo is popular for a reason....but he was clearly beaten. even canelo's hbo fanboys had him losing convincingly.

    You can't win a fight with just running and throwing almost nothing Canelo was killing laras body all night long.

    Why is it everywhere that has a post fight pole on who won that opinions are always split and a tend to have a slight edge to CANELO.

    Now are you just going to ignore all those opinions as they don't agree with yours, simply because Canelo is a bigger name?

    My Mexican friend told be he and his brother thought Lara got robbed.
    The guys is a hardcore Canelo fan.

    The main problem with that fight, Canelo vs Lara, was that 1 judge scored 7-5 for Lara, 1 judge scored it 7-5 for Canelo, both is acceptable, but the 3rd scored it 9-3 for Canelo which is nothing but outrageous. I think Lara won the fight and he should have at least be given a draw which would lead to a rematch and that would be cool.

    Thought he looked good last night/this morning here in uk, but jeez Rodriguez was just there for the pay day - exhibition type stuff.

    Lara looked good in there last night. Stayed in the pocket and boxed brilliantly. He deserved his props. I'd like to see Lara vs Cotto. I've got Lara in that one.
