Not a big call at all, your pretty much spot on, Tarvers shot as sht and hasnt been knocked out before, Danny needs another notch on his CV so he will become the first man to knockout Tarver, the same man to become the first to knockout RJJ, seems fitting, the only part left out is the fact that Tarver isnt the same fighter who knocked out RJJ and is far from that.

as i stated he was voted the hardest punching smw, not by me or anybody i know but hes got to have a fair bit of power for that to be recognised. having said that, i dont think his power has transitioned with him up to cruiser, so at cruiser hes just a tough smaller guy with heavyish hands and good left jab.

I agree with what your saying but i still think Tarver will be dangerous for the first 5 rds.
And if you really think that Danny will KO Tarver why don't you go back him?
You must in need for some new shoes by now...don't worry no ones going to accuse you of being a Green fan:yep

I dont think so m8, honestly not in any danger from Danny at all.

Tarver has problems with fighters who dictate the pace, and come forward. Guys like Glen Johnson, Hopkins, Dawson etc. RJJ fight is another story all together. Tarver likes to get on his jab and work off it, he is somewhat akward being a southpaw and will often use the same counter combo, he favours the uppercut and can be predictable at times. All Danny has to do is jump on him from round 1 and he has the fight in the bag, do i think Dannys going to Knock him out? all depends if Tarver can keep him off, how durable Tarver is right now and how much punishment he is willing to take and or how good and fast he can get on that bike and run for 12 rounds.

Tarver stands toe to toe with Danny and you have won some money, i dont belive the guy when he says he will go toe to toe, that would be stupid, you have to outbox Danny to win, Tarver is a boxer not a puncher, you dont punch with a puncher you outbox him and win, thats why its called BOXING! :good

Tarvers been knocked down by most of the guys who have set the pace and jumped on him, it wouldnt suprize me if Danny knocks him out, its been years since these guys knocked him down, its only a matter of time before someone knocks him out but i wouldnt bet money on it. Id bet money for Danny to win but i dont know if it will be by KO, Tarver has good defence and will avoid being knocked out at all cost, even if he turns the fight into a snooze fest.

After initial thoughts of a snooze feast I'm quite looking forward to catching this fight , still think Tarver is just going for the money but hope I'm wrong , still all said and done I can't see Danny boy getting sparked by Him so Danny on points is my prediction, what are the odds for that result ? I don't understand your betting odds .

Yer i doubt Tarver will trade toe to toe as much as he claims he will but if his legs are to old to be on his bike for 12rds the reality is like it or not for Tarver he's going to have to trade which could produce the KO.
I do agree there is a big chance that if Danny hurts Tarver he might go into his shell which could result in a boring fight with Tarver just happy to go the 12.

Nah Johnson is faster and has better defence than Green, Johnson doesn't get discouraged when he misses punches, you can bet Green will when he starts punching air. We saw against Beyer, we saw against Mundine that when Green misses his heart for the fight disappears. He loses confidence very easily.
