    WBC light heavyweight champion "Awesome" Chad Dawson's next defense could take place on a special installment of Showtime Championship Boxing on September 29. The possible opponenet could be Antonio Tarver,Tarver's promoter Joe DeGuardia was unavailable for immediate comment, Dawson's promoter Gary Shaw had "no comment.

    Doubtful, Tarver didnt seem to have much interest in fighting Dawson.

    It's actually pronounced "Bad" Chad Dawson, since he was a teenager.

    Everyone knows this has been discussed since around May.

    Dawson, as long as he doesn't get hit with an absolute bomb, wins 9 rounds to 3.

    I don't see him knocking Tarver out but this is the next logical fight at lt heavy ..I'm sure this fight gets made but its a matter of time .

    No really, I think the next logical fight would be vs hopkins. Tarver isnt looking that good in recent fights.

    Why do people keep trying to change his nickname? "Bad" Chad is much better than "Awesome" Dawson. Anyway, Dawson schools old ass Tarver. It will be a good win that will give Dawson some much needed recognition. "Bad" Chad is the future of boxing.

    I don't know Reg, but since I have been watching him train at Ring One in New Haven, CT back in 2000, he's been Bad Chad and nothing else.

    Chad is much smoother but doesn't hit as hard.

    this is going to be a snore fest untill sombody gets ko'd tarver is a one hit wonder . and will always be remembred for his ko of jones. they wont even rember that there was a rubber match and he won that as well
