Tarver exercises rematch clause against Dawson. Why?

The fact that Dawson ducked Diaconu a total of 4 times has been explained and is well documented. Diaconu pulled out of the fight due to a legitimate hand injury. No such legitimate reasons were given by the Dawson camp. The Dawson ducking took place both before and after Diaconus legit hand injury. Again debate is not necessary as the facts are again well documented.....just for fun google dawson and you will also see coward. Coincidence? I think not

in ways of glen though it was a good fight johnson wasnt the champ. tarver was. but i think hes feeding off hopkins performance over pavlik on why he want the rematch. im tired of his off night excuse. he was in the best shape ever in his life he claimed. we prepare he claimed. well trained he claimed. but to still have his off night. i guess he was drugged again.but out of the two johnson has more i wont say rights but more talk about having a rematch.

 

If it's a matter of the IBF forcing a rematch (which is doesn't seem to be) then Dawson should probably just drop the belt and move on, he's done it before.

But if it's a contractual thing which could end up i court, then he's just going to have to hurry up and get Tarver out of the way, Dawson ain't a huge money megastar, I doubt he's got the cash to be handing out 6 figures to anyone for not fighting them.

I agree with everyone saying it's a pointless match, Tarver has no chance, there can be no doubt in anyones mind after seeing the first fight.

 

Dawson better be calling up Zsolt Erdie and tell him to make an offer for Tarver, otherwise Dawson will have to fight Tarver again.
