Tarver beats any version of Lacy...Plain and simple...Tarver is just the better all around fighter and he would cause Lacy problems...Tarver was a very underrated boxer.
Generally I don't like saying anything nice about Tarver but the fact is, at one point, he was a very good fighter. He was a level above even the best Lacy and he wins this easily.
Knowing that Tarver had already been beaten 3 times at this point in his career, and against Jones in that 2nd fight all he really landed was that one big shot which KOd Jones who still seemed weight drained, I think at this stage in there careers Lacy would have outpointed Tarver. Lacy was looking at this stage as if he was going to have a promising career, I think the hole occassion of fighting Calzaghe abroad got to Lacy a little, whilst a fight for him against Tarver would have been a home battle for him.
