Tarver looks the best I have ever seen him look

It ain't going to be funny when Dawson gets hit by a Tarver straight Left hand.

 

most think that Dawson winning is the only outcome of this fight. I dont see it that way. Tarver is a good but sometimes lazy fighter with a high skill level. There is a good chance that he can get the much younger Dawson looking past him. Its not like the first fight was a hard one for Dawson and sometimes with that happens a person could maybe not be as prepared as he should be.

Im not saying that Tarver will win, my gut tell me that Dawson will be the first to stop Tarver, but I think that Tarver will fight this fight like he knows its he last chance and that may explain why he looked so good in the weigh-in.

 

History tends to show that guys that come in extra ripped like never before (they weren't ripped to begin with) usually end up getting knocked out.

 

His abs aint gonna help the fact that he cant throw but 2 punches.

Its usually because he is fighting at a smaller weight, or he has over trained. Which the latter could be for Tarver. I personally think that Tarver knows that this is it.

 

Lol at that goof that said Tarver HURT Dawson...he landed a clean flush power left uppercut and Dawson took it fine and did not even flinch.

Well, if we can go off appearances, at least Tarver appears to be taking this fight very seriously. He'll probably be stopped, but I just hope for a good fight. I'd respect him for that.

Physical looks . . . is not Tarver's problem . . . it's his stamina and psychological state.

The last time they fought . . . Tarver got only 3 rounds of the total 12. One of the judges gave him only 2!

Tarver has a place in most people heart (even though he beat my fav fighter of last 20 years Jones)

hes a charasmatic likable guy, he interviews bring a smile to your face.


I think he an extremely consistant fighter been a top 10 light heavy for 10 years.

Fought some superb opposition (better than Calzaghe even)

Tarver wont win this, Dawson looks the goods and Tarver last few fights havent been very good..Hopkins and Dawson are the only 2 fights ive seen Tarver look so uncompetitive.
