Just watched it, thought Tarver looked good in there, he was very relaxed and most of the punches Murqui was throwing were hitting gloves elbows or catching air. Tarver landed a left hand in the 6th round that sounded like it should have taken Murquis head off. Any idea who Tarver might be fighting next? I'm guessing he rematches someone like Montell Griffon, Glen Johnson or Reggie Johnson.
I disagree to me Tarver looked like **** and honestly I could see the fight going either way. I had it for Tarver but it was close a draw should have been the outcome what I didnt like was Tarver discrediting the performance of Muriqi Honestly, the man did better against Tarver than Tarver did against Hopkins did better than Jones did against Tarver in the second and third fights.
He already declined, twice, to face Adamek while the Pole held a world title. No way he faces him now. As to Johnson, he was also reluctant to fight a rubbermatch with the guy. Imo, the less we hear about Tarver, the better.
He flaps those suckalips too much. What did he say after his last fight? He's already an ATG or some ****? If he beats Hopkins he will retire right away as P4P #1? I don't even pay attention to the him anymore. :dead
Although I wasn't as shocked with Tarver knocking Jones out as I was Buster knocking Tyson out, Jones had shown clear vulnerabilities and that he might be going down hill. Tyson still seemed to be invincible. Let me ask you this, is Glenn Johnson ATG?
Murqui's team was yelling "bull****" in the ring and saying he got robbed, acting very unproffesional, they provoked Tarver into his statements. I definitely think Jones did better in his third fight against Tarver than Murqui did against a Tarver with a year lay off.
Did Tarver flatten Roy in the first fight???? Unless i missed something then no he did not.... Don't get too jumpy bro! I was talking about the first Tarver fight when I saw Roy being vulerable for the first time, which made me real nervious for the second fight, in fact I really didnt know if Roy could win. I was shocked at the KO.... and i never said i saw it coming, i just simply stated i was more shocked when Buster KO'ed Tyson. I don't know why you had to take it personal, I wasn't discrediting your boy... Saying he is not ATG doesnt take a thing from Tarver, IMO! Take it easy and read what i was trying to say :good

Actually--you are wrong as usual. Jones's last decent outing was the WIN against Tarver---which you still haven't posted your scorecard for that fight-- Jones looked very beatable and that was the worst Jones ever looked in a win. Please stop posting your BS that Tarver beat him 3 times in a row when less than 10% of people believe that. Tarver is not an ATG as of now. He was beaten by a faded RJJ, by Johnson, and then by Bhop coming up 2 weight classes and off 2 losses.
