Most orgs prefer their optional defences to be in the top 15 rankings. Mandatories are usually with top 1 or 2 rankings depending on availability. Wlodarczyk has beaten both top 2 ranked challengers. Thats why he was chaseing Huck or Green for a unification fight. Rumours were he was in financial trouble and after a good money fight. After a marriage break up he tried to neck himself so the Huck option went out the window. Should he get past Green, his next fight i presume would be a mandatory.
