Tarver Says His Great Performance vs. Cunningham Proves He'd Beat Wlad

I think hes a bit punchy,hes mistaking Fury for Wlad,and even then I think fury did better against cunninham minus the flash knock down.

 

Hopefully someone saves Tarver from himself. I seriously worry about his welfare if he ever fights Wladimir.

 

He has not beaten one heavyweight of note.enough said

I actually think Tarver has a better chance against Wilder than he does Scott, styles....

 

All he is at this point is a name, nothing more nothing less.

 

How does getting a draw against Cunningham prove he can beat Wlad. He couldn't even prove that he could beat Cunningham

 

He needs money only reason he is saying these things. Wlad is not going to fight him. Wlad fights the best available for the most part unless forced into a mandatory as was the case with Leapai.

Well, if he had got the W against Cunningham it certainly wouldn't be the worst voluntary Wlad could take....

 

Wlad's dance card is full. Fury, Glazkov and Povetkin/Wilder winner. Anyone else has to wait.

 

Yipes, all those punches he's taken must've made him delusional.

 

He could probably catch Wlad on the chin. He is crafty and knows how to get his punches off. But, he looked old and slow in there, moreso because Cunningham moved and boxed a lot. A fighter that is going to stay in range and give him opportunities is gonna get hurt.

 

Nah.... Too slow/lethargic at this point to get inside and land a bomb. Wlad would keep him at arms length the entire fight, and simply circle away/clinch up if Tarver decided to get brave and bull rush him. Besides a technician like Tarver knows what bullrushing Wlad can lead to, and he wouldn't take his chances, it's not in his DNA. Tarvers style can't work against Wlad, especially with his lack of size. Wlad won't make any mistakes, at least not the kind that would make him vulnerable to one of Tarvers traps.
